Microwave Seafoam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    dash of salt
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pecan halves (if desired)
Preparation
    Combine sugars, syrup, water and salt.
    Microwave on High in glass casserole for 5 minutes.
    Stir.
    Place back in microwave on High for 9 minutes.
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar in mixer bowl until stiff peaks form.
    Pour hot syrup mixture over egg whites.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
    Top with pecan half, if desired.
