Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, vanilla and milk.
    Mix all ingredients well. Turn out on floured surface and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with cookie cutter.
    Place on greased cookie sheet and bake about 15 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until lightly browned.
