Barbecued Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chuck roast
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    1/2 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
Preparation
    Trim all fat from roast.
    Brown in Dutch oven with a little oil.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Put meat in a heavy roasting pan, pour sauce over it and cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours. Remove meat and shred with fork and return to sauce.
    For a little spicier version, add the sliced green bell pepper when you bake the roast.
