Austrian Apple Strudel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. warm water
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 qt. sour apples, cut fine
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. currants
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/4 lb. almonds, chopped and blanched
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Put large linen cloth or large new cheesecloth on table for rolling up strudel.
