Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk (not skim)
    dash of pepper
    4 c. potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 small onion, thinly sliced
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. butter
    dash of paprika
Preparation
    Stir soup (do not add water) over medium heat, until smooth; add milk and pepper.
    In buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole, alternate layers of potatoes, onion, sauce and cheese.
    Dot top with butter; sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for one hour. Uncover and bake 20 minutes more.
    Makes 4 generous servings.
