Chile - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    17 lb. hamburg
    2 large onions
    3 (No. 10) cans kidney beans
    1 1/2 c. chili powder
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    4 large cans tomato juice and water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown, drain and rinse hamburg.
    Place in electric roaster. Add chili powder and mix well with hamburg.
    Add salt and pepper. Brown onions until soft.
    Add to roaster.
    Add beans, sauce and juice.
    Stir in 2 to 3 quarts of water.
    Add more if needed. Bring to boil and turn to simmer.
    Cook for 2 hours or more.
    Add more water if needed.
    Serves 80 to 85.
