Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 or 6 c. tomatoes
1/2 large onion, chopped
1 large stalk celery, minced
1 large green pepper, diced
1/8 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. tarragon
1 large bay leaf
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
sugar (if desired)
Preparation
-
Peel the tomatoes. Cut in small pieces and mash. Add onion, celery and green pepper. Simmer 10 minutes, covered.
Add next 6 ingredients.
Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
