Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 c. buttermilk*
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 3/4 c. coconut
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and margarine.
    Stir in buttermilk and eggs. Add coconut and vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
