Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Sift first 5 dry ingredients.
    Work in shortening as if making biscuits.
    Reserve 2/3 cup of this mixture.
    To remaining mixture, add egg, lightly beaten, and combine with milk.
    Beat until smooth. Put into shallow pan, greased and dusted with flour.
    Add brown sugar and cinnamon to 2/3 cup of dry mixture and spread over cake. Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serve warm.
