Caramel Corn & Candy Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. popped popcorn
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. M&M's
    1 c. peanuts
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Place popcorn in greased roasting pan and keep warm in 300 degree oven.
    Grease saucepan and cook on medium heat the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to boiling, stirring constantly, until thermometer reads 255 degrees (hardball stage-about 4 minutes).
    Remove from heat, add baking soda and vanilla, then pour over popcorn.
    Stir to coat and bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.
    Stir and bake another 5 minutes.
    Let cool, break into smaller pieces and add M&M's, peanuts and raisins.
    Store in sealed container.
    Makes 9 cups.
