Sauerkraut Salad(A Minute On The Lips, A Lifetime On The Hips.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    1 green pepper, chopped (3/4 c.)
    1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1/3 c. chopped celery
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Combine the first 5 ingredients.
    Mix the remaining ingredients.
    You may heat second mixture to dissolve sugar, if you want.
    Pour over kraut mixture.
    Chill 24 hours.
    Serves 4.
