Egg Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 slices bread, cut up
9 eggs, beaten with 1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
1 3/4 c. milk
1/2 lb. cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)
2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation

Soak bread in milk.
Drain and reserve milk.
Combine with eggs.
Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Put soaked bread in bottom of pan. Add egg mixture.
Top with cheese and the crumbled bacon.
Pour margarine over top.
Let set in refrigerator overnight.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until firm.
Serves 8 to 10.
