Prune Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. salad oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
2 c. flour
3 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. prunes, cooked, seeded and chopped
Preparation

Blend sugar, oil and eggs.
Sift flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice together.
Add alternately with buttermilk to the egg mixture.
Add vanilla, nuts and prunes.
Mix well and pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish which has been greased with butter. Bake at 300\u00b0 in preheated oven for 1 hour.
