Ruth Ann'S Sweet Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers, onion slices, celery and dill
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers, slice lengthwise to fill about 8 pints.
    To each jar, add 2 slices onion, 1 piece celery and 1 head dill.
