Apple Bran Coffeecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. all-bran
    1 c. butterscotch morsels
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1/2 c. butter, softened at room temperature
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. peeled and grated red Delicious apples
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13x2 baking pan. In the bowl of the food processor fitted with the steel blade, combine the all-bran and butterscotch morsels.
    Process until the mixture is fine but not powdery. Remove the blade and stir in the pecans.
    Reserve 3/4 cup of this mixture.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, eggs, butter and sour cream.
    Mix well.
    Stir in the apples and the bran mixture (except the reserved 3/4 cup). Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with reserved bran mixture.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Cool for about 10 minutes on a cake rack.
    Drizzle with glaze. Serves 12.
