Edna'S Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. whole pecans
8 oz. candied cherries
8 oz. candied pineapple
1 lb. dates
1 c. sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Chop fruit into small pieces.
Add 1 cup sugar.
Add WHOLE pecans.
Stir very good and set aside.
In another bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, flour, eggs, salt and vanilla.
Mix together good and add to first mixture.
Mix very good.
Grease and flour (I use Baker's Joy) a Bundt or tube pan.
Pour in mixture.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
