Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (48 oz.) jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small pkg. lasagne
    2 lb. Ricotta cheese
    8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a large heavy pan, brown beef, onion and pepper in oil. Add spaghetti sauce, sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour.
    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup of sauce.
    Alternate layers of lasagne, sauce, Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese, ending with sauce, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 40 to 50 minutes.
