Dessert Kolacky - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
raspberry, apricot, prune or any filling (Solo in cans works well)
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Thoroughly blend shortening, cream cheese and sugar.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Knead to form stiff dough.
Roll to 1/4-inch thickness on well floured board.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Place filling.
Place in ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Before rolling on any board, may freeze dough in freezer to make easier to roll out.
