Candied Yam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large potatoes (yams)
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 lemon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes about 1/4-inch thick.
    Arrange in bottom of casserole dish.
    Sprinkle sugar over yams with nutmeg. Squeeze lemon juice over potatoes and slice lemon thinly and place over potatoes.
    Cut margarine or butter over potatoes.
    Cover with foil and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
