Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine milk, sugar, oil and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add 1 1/2 cups flour.
    Beat well.
    Beat in the yeast and slightly beaten egg.
    Gradually add remaining 2 cups of flour.
    Work well.
    Put in greased bowl.
    Turn once.
    Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours or double in bulk.
    Mash down and shape into rolls.
    Let rise again.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven.
    Makes one large pan.
