Kraut Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (16 oz.) cans chopped kraut, drained
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    jalapeno pepper (2 pods or as desired)
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimientos, drained
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar, vinegar and salt in saucepan.
    Let come to
    a boil;
    remove
    from heat and cool.
    Combine kraut, bell pepper, onion,
    jalapeno
    pepper and pimientos.
    Pour vinegar mixture over kraut mixture.
    Refrigerate in a tight container. Will keep good for several weeks.
