Chinese Peas With Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 green onions
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 lb. Chinese peas
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. chicken stock
    1/4 tsp. m.s.g.
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. cold water
    soy sauce (optional)
    salt (optional)
Preparation
    Cook the chopped onions in the oil for 2 minutes.
    Add the peas and water chestnuts.
    Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
    Add the hot chicken stock, m.s.g. and dissolved cornstarch (mix cornstarch and water).
    Add a little soy sauce if desired.
    Stir and as soon as the sauce is transparent, serve at once.
    Serves 4.
