German Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Blend shortening and sugar well.
    Mix in vanilla, eggs, flour and milk.
    Add baking powder.
    Beat until batter forms peaks. Bake in greased, floured tube pan at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
