Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large pan (large enough to serve as a mixing bowl).
    Add brown sugar; mix and cool.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
    Fold in sifted dry ingredients, then nuts and chips.
    Spread in greased 10 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan.
    Bake 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
