Georgia Grits(Yankee Style) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. uncooked grits
1 tsp. salt
6 c. water
1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
2 Tbsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
18 to 20 oz. sharp cheese, grated
4 beaten eggs
Preparation

Combine in a large pot the grits, salt and water.
Cook until grits are done; stir often.
Add butter or oleo, seasoned salt and cheese.
Remove from heat when cheese and butter are melted.
Add eggs.
Pour into greased pan and bake at 325\u00b0 until well set. Serves 12 to 20.
