Springerle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. anise oil (get this at drugstore)
    1 tsp. honey
Preparation
    Beat eggs 1/2 hour.
    Gradually add powdered sugar until mixed (5 or 10
    minutes).
    Add anise oil, then add flour, salt and baking powder by
    folding
    in
    with
    a
    spoon.
    Roll
    out 1/4-inch thick
    and\tpress
    design
    with a springerle board or springerle rolling
    pin.
    Cut\tapart and let set out overnight on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 or 20 minutes or until light brown.
    Makes about 60 cookies.
