Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 egg

Preparation

Heat 1-inch oil in skillet.
Combine ingredients until moistened.
Fry heaping teaspoonfuls of batter a few at a time until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
