Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. drained fruit cocktail
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1/4 to 1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.
Beat egg and add to dry ingredients.
Add fruit cocktail.
Pour into a 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
Cover with nuts and brown sugar.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to hour.
