Brisket And Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. brisket
    2 tsp. salt
    1 large sliced onion
    1 bottle chili sauce
    3 Tbsp. catsup
    pepper to taste
    split garlic clove
    5 celery ribs with greens, cut into 2-inch pieces
    3/4 can beer
Preparation
    Rub brisket with salt, pepper and garlic.
    Place in roasting pan.
    Cover with onion slices, celery, chili sauce and catsup. Cook, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
    Add beer, cover and bake about 2 hours longer (until tender).
    Cool.
    Lift fat, drain and dispose of onion and celery.
    Slice meat.
    Cover with sauce and warm.
