Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1 c. chopped nut meats
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Boil sugar, water and syrup until mixture dropped in cold water turns brittle.
Pour slowly over stiffly beaten whites of eggs.
Add nuts and flavoring.
Then spoon on wax paper.
