Old Time Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
flour (enough to make a stiff dough, approximately 6 c.)

Preparation

Mix in order listed.
Roll out 1/8-inch thick.
Sprinkle with sugar (optional).
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown (12 to 13 minutes).
