Pear Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck pears
    6 sweet green peppers
    6 sweet red peppers
    6 large Vidalia onions
    1 bunch celery
    3 c. sugar
    5 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation
    Put pears and vegetables through a food chopper. Combine sugar, salt, vinegar and allspice.
    Pour into an enameled pot with chopped ingredients.
    Cook for 30 minutes.
    Pack in hot, sterile jars.
