Soured Cornmeal Loaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/3 c. warm water
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
    1 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water; set aside.
    Scald milk. Pour over sugar, salt and oil in large mixing bowl.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add cornmeal, 1 cup of the flour and softened yeast; cover.
    Place in warm place (80\u00b0 to 85\u00b0) about 16 hours to ferment.
