Apricot Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box apricot Jell-O
    1 (17 oz.) can apricots, cut apricot halves into 4 pieces
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    3 1/2 c. liquid (juice of apricots and pineapple plus necessary water)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    dash of salt
    1 envelope plain gelatin dissolved in 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Heat liquid to boiling.
    Add Jell-O until dissolved.
    Add dissolved gelatin.
    Cool. When mixture begins to congeal add fruit and nuts.
    Pour into mold.
    Yields 12 to 15 servings.
