Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    bacon bits (optional)
    shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes; cool, peel and cube.
    In large mixing bowl combine potatoes, cottage cheese, sour cream, salt and onion. Place in deep casserole, greased.
    Top with Cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
