Poppy Seed Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. milk
1/2 c. light raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. poppy seed
Preparation

In medium bowl beat together sugar, margarine and orange peel with electric mixer 30 seconds.
Add eggs and beat well.
In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to beaten mixture, beating on low speed.
Stir in raisins, pecans and poppy seed.
Line muffin pans with paper baking cups.
Fill 3/4 full.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 18 muffins.
