Dirt Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 (12 oz.) or (16 oz.) Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix pudding by directions on box.
Add all the other ingredients except cookies, then mix well.
Put half of the cookies on bottom, then add pudding mixture.
Top with the other half of crushed cookies.
Refrigerate to set.
