Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. fresh strawberries, hulled and washed
1 c. mashed berries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. water
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell

Preparation

Arrange strawberries in a 9-inch baked pie shell.
Cook mashed berries, sugar, cornstarch and water until thick, stirring constantly.
Pour over berries and chill.
Serve with whipped cream.
