S--- On The Shingle(In Memory Of Glen Martin) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef fried till brown & done
    2 qts. water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    a little milk
    a little corn starch
Preparation
    Brown ground beef till done.
    Put 2 qts. of water in a cooker and bring to a boil.
    Add beef to water and add the margarine. Add enough milk or cream to make it white colored, then mix corn starch with milk or water (about 2/3 c.)
    Pour in and stir to thicken.
    Make it as thick as you like.
    Add salt & pepper to taste.
