Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell, cooled
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. strawberry jello mix
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 pt. fresh chilled strawberries, sliced or halved (not frozen)
pinch of salt
Preparation

Combine all dry ingredients.
Add to boiling water and cook until thick.
Cool.
Place chilled strawberries in baked pie shell and pour mixture over them.
Place in refrigerator.
Top with whipped cream, if desired.
