Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. apricot jello
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    1 banana
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and juice to a boil.
    Add jello, stirring until well mixed.
    Cool.
    Mix buttermilk, Cool Whip, banana and pecans, adding to jello mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Chill and serve.
