Raisin Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cover raisins with water; boil for 10 minutes, or until half the water is left.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and vanilla; beat.
    Mix flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together; add to the creamed mixture.
    Add the raisins and juice and fold in. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Makes 1 dozen.
    They stay moist.
