Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal mix
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 small onion, finely chopped
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten

Preparation

Combine cornmeal mix, sugar and onion in a bowl.
Add milk and egg to dry ingredients.
Stir.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls into hot deep fat fryer (375\u00b0) until golden brown and drain on paper towels.
