Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 pork chops
3 c. sliced potatoes
1 c. sliced carrot
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation

Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Brown on both sides in skillet.
Layer vegetables in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Pour soup over vegetables.
Remove chops from skillet; set aside. Remove fat from skillet and add water to rinse and scrape particles from bottom of skillet.
Pour this over vegetables. Sprinkle with thyme.
Place pork chops on top.
Lay piece of foil over top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Remove foil long enough to let chops brown or firm up on tops.
