Apple Turnover - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    butter the size of walnut
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Slice apples on the bottom of a 9 x 9-inch buttered baking dish.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Combine remaining ingredients to make batter and pour over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
