Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large eggplant, peeled
    butter
    2 c. bread crumbs
    2 lb. ground meat
    1 medium onion, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
    Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Peel the eggplant.
    Boil until tender or transparent; drain. Saute bread crumbs in butter.
    Saute ground meat and diced onion in frying pan.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
