Salmon Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. cornmeal
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (1 lb.) can salmon
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients in a bowl. Add milk and egg. Beat until smooth.
    Remove skin and bones from salmon and flake with a fork. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Fold into batter.
    Fry in hot grease by dropping from a tablespoon.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
