Stay-In-Bed Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or more stew beef (I cut mine into smaller pieces)
    cut-up carrots, onion, potatoes, etc.
    1 can undiluted cream of tomato soup
    1 can undrained green peas (do not use frozen)
Preparation
    Place stew beef and vegetables in shallow pan.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Mix soup and peas (juice, too) thoroughly and pour over meat and vegetables.
    Cover tightly.
    Cook for 5 hours at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0.
