Spinach Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 head lettuce
1 pkg. fresh spinach
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green onions
1 can water chestnuts
1 can small peas, drained
1/2 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. real bacon chips
Preparation

Shred lettuce in bottom of large Pyrex dish or flat salad bowl.
Layer spinach on top of lettuce.
Mix celery, onions, water chestnuts and peas.
Spread these on top of the spinach.
Mix equal parts of sour cream and mayonnaise; spread over chopped ingredients.
Sprinkle cheese over the dressing and bacon bits on top of cheese.
Let sit in refrigerator at least 4 hours before serving.
Serves 12.
