Pineapple Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and sugar to boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Add buttermilk and pecans.
    Pecans can be toasted.
    Mix well.
    Fold in Cool Whip. Place in 9 x 13 pan and chill until firm.
    Keeps in refrigerator about 2 weeks.
